Velvet is a fabric whose face forms a surface of cut hairs, like fury. 
Jacquard is a weaving effect. The patterns are not printed on the fabric but woven. The fabric is obtained by intercrossing threads arranged in the wrap and those arranged in the weft. This allows to give relief to the pattern and brings nobility to the fabric naturally enriched by the diversity of fibers and the placement of patterns.
